LCF Holds General Assembly, Inducts Kraft Foods Philippines and San Roque Power Foundation

The League of Corporate Foundations (LCF) held its second General Assembly for 2012 last August 15. Two new members, KRAFT FOODS PHILIPPINES and SAN ROQUE POWER FOUNDATION were inducted during the G.A.

Kraft Foods Philippines (KFP) is committed to the Kraft Foods global advocacy of fighting hunger and malnutrition. With this mission in mind, the Company adopted a public elementary school in October 2010 for a five-year program to transform the school into one of the top five in Parañaque City by 2015. KFP also implements environment-related programs in its own company. Most notable is the ‘Go Green’ program, which aims to reduce the Company’s use of water and energy, and its waste. Employees of Kraft Foods have a strong sense of volunteerism and regularly participate in the Company’s community activities.

San Roque Power Foundation is the CSR unit of the San Roque Power Corporation. Established in 2010, the foundation implements programs on micro-finance, capacity-building, livelihood development, education, health, and the environment.
