LCF CSRI Conducts PCNC Accreditation and Non Investment-related Tax Incentives Training

The Corporate Social Responsibility Institute (CSRI) conducted a half-day training on the Philippine Council for NGO Certification (PCNC) Accreditation process and Non Investment-related Tax Incentives last April 13 at the LCF Boardroom.

The training gave the 14 participants a better understanding on the PCNC accreditation process for corporate foundations and on laws that grant tax benefits.

Mr. Louie Morales, Executive Director of PCNC and Ms. Camille Buenaventura, Executive Director of San Miguel Foundation gave their perspectives as PCNC evaluators and their insights on what foundations should expect during a PCNC assessment visit.

Dr. Renato Reside, professor at the University of the Philippines School of Economics presented a study on Non-Investment-Related Tax Incentives and how these incentives encourage socially beneficial activities.
